It's been a while since I've updated this verse of the day, about 4 months to be exact. So I've decided to start back up.--- Ephesians 3:12 (NLT) - Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come fearlessly into God's presence, assured of his glad welcome. --- We can come to God and we don't have to fear if we have faith in Him. That's what God's there for. He's there for us to come into His presence. What a great promise!

This is the way our Savior God wants us to live. -- I can't help but notice the urgency in Paul's writing in that first sentence. Pray every way, and for everyone. That's what we should be doing all the time. The second part of that passage states that God wants us to live simply, free from distractions. We should always be in an attitude of "humble contemplation." How are you praying and living?

As I am writing this, the birds are singing outside. The flowers are in full bloom. The grass and the trees are starting to green. God is amazing in how He works. He has separated us from our sins, the very sins that bring us death, He makes us new, and doesn't treat us as we should be treated because of the sins in our lives. Thank God for His grace! He loves each and everyone of us so much that He was willing to send His Son, whom He loved, in our place. That's love.

"So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth." -- Are we ever uncertain that the Lord is moving in our life? Just as the verse says, He is as certain as the dawn! The sun comes up everyday, just as the Lord moves in our lives. He is like spring rain watering our dry souls. Let Him revive your life!
